Keith Harring, Leaning Towers and Gelato... Pisa!

So we decided to make the trip to Pisa! What started off as another hectic day because of those god damn trains ended amazing. I love the town of Pisa and am hoping we go back!

Before I was looking up things to do before we went to Pisa, other then take the very touristy picture with the tower. Turns out Keith Harring has a mural in Pisa that he did in 1989. It was amazing and HUGE. I was so happy to find it and take a picture with it. I took an art class and Keith Harring was one of my favorites.

Oh that tower. Well I can not believe how extreme the LEAN is. It looks ridiculous and fake! I wanted to go around and high five everyone posing with their arms up.... BUT we got chased away by the police because supposdley you cannot stand on the grass?! Whats up with that Pisa? Well I stood my ground and took my picture before leaving! We also hung out in the shade of the tower and it was just so amazing to look at.

Oh who is this awkward guy?

This town is just beautiful, I really hope we have time to go back

THE GELATO!!!!!!! Ok since my blog has turned into 10% Travels, 90% food, I now have to keep up with my standards and eat as much as possible....

So this Gelato place we found gave you a massive cone of this smooth delicious nectar for only 2.5 Euros!? WHAT THATS UNHEARD OF! In Florence im paying that for a small cup. The flavors above ( we got to choose four ) are Melon, Lemon, Pineapple and mixed berries. Oh.My.God. Please I could eat this for breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner, dessert, bedtime snack.

The best place in the world.

Dinner Time! Back in Florence to Osteria All'Antico Mercato. Delicious food here, I can see this being a regular. We ate here on our second night in Florence, and will keep coming back.

For an appetizer we split the antipasta board - sliced meats, cheeses, bread, grilled vegetables and fruit. Seriously I could eat this all day and be happy - well maybe with some gelato.

I was absolutely craving some steak a little change from all the pasta and starch I have been eating. I ordered a steak with an arugula salad and roasted potatoes. It was delicious and hit the spot. Nomnomnomnomnom
