Just call me Mario Batali

Its finally cooling off here, especially since our AC is working and we got two big fans blowing in the apartment! 

Started today out with some French Toast (I know I know) smothered in Nutella. It was too early to look for my camera so just imagined melted Nutella goodness. YUM 

Our third day of class went well and I have my first quiz tomorrow - I am getting used to the routine but not the 25 minute walk to class. 

After class we roamed around a little and went back to the room to nap and prepare dinner. OH I completely forgot it was 4th of July today! Its the first 4th I am not at the beach and I am missing everyone/the beach bar/hamburgers and hotdogs immensely! 

I cooked dinner again tonight!!!! It was delicious. We had a little bruschetta to start with with fresh mozzarella and then Gnocchi with a Mushroom sauce. Most of the ingredients came straight from the market, all fresh produce. It was delicious! I am patting myself on the back for mastering my culinary skills while I am here.... Lets see what else I can make... 

My new snack, since I have yet to go a day without eating Nutella in some form, is Vanilla wafer crackers just dipped into Nutella. Just amazing, OH this is our jar. Its glass and contains over one pound of the nectar from the gods! 

After dinner we went up to the rooftop terrace to do our homework and study, but I mean how can you actually concentrate with a view like this!? The weather was perfect tonight and a slight breeze made it even better. I still cant believe I am here.
