There are American and Mexican restaurants in Florence?!

After two weeks of pasta every single night, you kind of get sick of it. Not to say I am done with pasta because I can obviously live on it for every meal.... I am going to need to be wheeled onto the plane at this point... BUT anyway we needed some good ol Burgers and Fries. It helped cure our homesickness and instead of the traditional Italian Sunday dinner this is what opted for this weekend

Founded in 2004 The Diner boasts about being Florence's first American Diner. I dont think another one needs to be opened after this because it hit the nail on the head. I of course ordered a bacon cheeseburger, fries and an Iced Tea. Ugh it really cures homesickness in one bite.

Salivating. 

My second craving was some spicy mexican food. And what would you know, Tijuanas has half priced drinks from 7-8 every day. HELLO NEW WATERING HOLE. The margaritas were amazing and surprisingly the food was delicious and spicy. Exactly what I needed. I think this is going to be our new Tuesday spot.... or every day spot...
