To some culture shock comes when 99% of the people you talk to do not speak english or when you are just living in an unfamiliar country for 5 weeks.
For me it is the heat! It is so hot here! It doesn't seem hotter then home but I am not sure Italy has ever seen a cloud so its just this Italian sun beating down on you ALL. DAY. LONG. And everyone is not phased by it at all. They are used to not having air conditioning HOW YOU MIGHT ASK!?
We now have two fans and a bit of air conditioning so I am starting to get used to it but dayyyuummm its HOT.
