Goodbye!

After 36 Days, 1 Bicycle Ride, 1 Chairlift Ride, 3 Planes, 3 Tour Buses, 4 Ferries, 5 Subways, 6 City Buses, 15 Train Rides and God Knows how many taxis, we stayed in 1 Hostel, 1 Bed and Breakfast, 2 Hotels and saw 11 Cities in 2 Countries.
We ate like kings and tasted everything from traditional Italian food to pub grub to crazy Tuscan cuisine. I have had a trip of a lifetime and will never ever forget everything I saw, tasted and experienced. I could not think of two better people to share this all with, thanks John and Fred for putting up with me the whole time!

Last Meal

Later we had our last meal at Barbecoa, Jamie Olivers new steakhouse overlooking St Pauls Church. It was amazing.

For Started we had Barbeque Wings with a Watermelon salad with hot peppers. IT WAS DELICIOUS!
Drink time! Im going to miss not being able to order a drink with dinner. This is a Porn Star Martini - Vanilla Vodka, Champagne and Passion Fruit.

Main Course! Lamb Chops that literally melted in your mouth, over butter beans. This was the best thing I have had the whole vacation.

For Dessert - Panna Cotta with Peach Carpaccio.

What an amazing Restaurant! Great food and vibe! Perfect place for our last meal!

Our Final Day :(

Day Three of London and our Final day of the trip!

We had so much to see in so little time. We took the train into London and then bought tickets for a double-decker tour bus. It might have been the touristy thing I have ever done. And I loved it.

We saw Abbey Road and took the iconic picture. Then went to Tower of London to see the crown jewels, saw the Tower Bridge and roamed around London.

We went to Kings Cross Station to take the Platform 9 3/4 picture from Harry Potter of course!

I loved London so much! I wish we could have spent more time there but I know I will be back some day!

London Day 2! HARRY POTTER STUDIOS!!!

Day two of London! We decided to head out early and go to see Buckingham palace. While over there we also got to see the finish line for the cycling Olympic event that was going on which was really cool.

After we got lunch at a pub and I had shepherds pie! I seriously good eat this food every day.

After lunch we had booked a tour all day to go visit the studios where all the Harry Potter films were filmed. WE LITERALLY WERE WALKING ON THE SETS OF THE MOVIE. MY LIFE IS COMPLETE ! Anyone who knows me knows how huge of a fan I am. So this was INSANE.

Our Tour Bus!

The Great Hall

The Night Bus!

4 Pivet Drive :D

Diagon Alley

After the tour we headed to yet another pub where I got fish and chips and a pint of Cider. Do I have to leave London ?

Oh and who can forget some Sticky Toffee Pudding!?

Just Touched Down In London Town!

Bittersweet goodbye Florence!

We woke up at 5am to go to the airport – of course when we got there we had trouble with out baggage and each had to pay over $100 in extra fees to get on the plane. This of course made the start of the day terrible.

The flight was not too bad only, less then two hours. When we got to London ( yay!) we discovered they had also now lost John’s luggage. WHAT HAVE WE DONE TO GET THIS KARMA?! After filling out some forms we went to our hotel, which was walking distance from the Airport

Since the Olympics were going on we had to stay just outside of London so we did not have to pay some ridiculous prices per night.

We went to the hotel and as we were waiting for our room to be ready, in strolls a man with johns luggage! The day was making a turn for the better!

Finally checked in and got settled and showered then headed out into the city.

We discovered that the train was not that expensive and was an express to London so it took us only about 30-40 mins each time.

Right after the train ride we found a pub nearby and had our first pub grub. FISH AND CHIPS!!! Might be my new favorite food in the world. They were delicious!

When we got the City we decided to do a walking tour of the Westminster area on our owns with a free audio guide we got.

LORD NELSON IN PERSON! CORAL I WAS SO HAPPY!!

After walking around and sightseeing all afternoon we headed to dinner.

I had read about a different pizza place in London that served all kinds of whackey pizza so we decided to try it. It was called Fire and Stone -

Yummy Pimms!!!

Jakarta pizza with Satay sauce, mozzarella, chicken, spinach, aubergine and red chilli, topped with  tomato chutney, roasted peanuts and coriander

This is the Casablanca Pizza with infused mascarpone cheese sauce, wild mushrooms sautéed in garlic butter,  blue cheese, mozzarella, topped with toasted walnuts and parsley - DELICIOUS

Dessert Sampler of course with a Banana Pizza!

After dinner we headed to see Sweeney Todd! We had ordered tickets before we left and I could not wait to see it! The play did not disappoint at all Imelda Staunton who is actually also in Harry Potter, played one of the leads so I was incredibly happy. I wish I could have seen the play 10 more times while I was there. It was really mind-blowingly good!

After the play we headed back to our hotel since we were completely exhausted.
